Peak Vegan Protein Isolate Cookies & Cream is a two-source plant protein in a 750 g pouch — 25 servings of a cocoa-flecked shake with 23 g of protein and 0 g of sugars each. Rice and pea isolate in equal measure, sweetened with stevia rather than sucralose, and designed to be mixed with water.
In short: Peak Vegan Protein Isolate Cookies & Cream is a stevia-sweetened rice and pea blend with 23 g of protein and zero sugars per 30 g scoop. Peak Vegan Protein Isolate Cookies & Cream gives you a dairy-free dessert shake without artificial sweeteners.
Why Peak Vegan Protein Isolate Cookies & Cream works
Rice protein and pea protein have complementary amino acid profiles — rice runs comparatively low in lysine, pea comparatively low in methionine — so pairing them at 48.2% each covers ground that neither manages alone. Both are isolates rather than concentrates, which is why the powder lands at 78 g of protein per 100 g with only 5.4 g of carbohydrate. A little fat-reduced cocoa and a touch of xanthan gum turn what is usually a thin, chalky category into something with body.

Ingredients and allergens
Rice protein isolate (48.2%), pea protein isolate (48.2%), fat-reduced cocoa powder (2%), flavouring, thickener (xanthan gum), sweetener (steviol glycosides from stevia).
Allergens: may contain cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk and soybeans.
How to use it
Mix a 30 g dose — two measuring scoops — with 300 ml of water and shake. Water is the intended carrier; plant milk works too and softens the texture further. The xanthan gum gives it more body than most vegan powders, so it blends well into porridge, chia pots or a frozen-banana smoothie. Once opened, use the pouch within three months and keep it sealed somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight.
Stevia instead of sucralose
The whole Peak vegan range is sweetened with steviol glycosides rather than sucralose or acesulfame K. If you have been avoiding artificial sweeteners, that single difference is often what decides which tub goes in the basket — and it is why this line reads differently from the whey-based Protein 85 in the same flavour.
Who is it for?
Vegans and anyone cutting back on dairy who still wants a dessert-flavoured shake. It is also the sensible pick if you react badly to whey or find casein-heavy blends sit heavily. Rotating flavours? The same formula comes in Vanilla Pistachio, Salted Peanut Caramel and an unflavoured Natural.
Frequently asked questions
Is it gritty? Rice protein has a naturally fine grain and this one is milled well, but a plant isolate will never be as slick as whey. A blender, or a good shake with plant milk, smooths it out.
Is it sweetened with stevia? Yes — steviol glycosides only, no sucralose and no acesulfame K.
How many servings per pouch? Twenty-five, at 30 g each.
How long does it keep once opened? Three months, sealed and stored cool and dry. Full manufacturer specifications are published at peak.ag.
Mixing a plant protein well
Plant isolates behave differently from whey and a few habits make all the difference. Put the liquid in the shaker first and the powder second, or it cakes at the bottom. Use 300 ml rather than 250 — thicker is not better here. Let it stand for a minute after shaking so the xanthan gum can hydrate fully; the texture improves noticeably. And if you have a blender to hand, thirty seconds with a few ice cubes turns it from a functional drink into something you actually look forward to.
