Organic Beef Bone Broth
Bone broth is obtained by slowly boiling animal bones for an extended period. This ready-to-drink broth is made from beef bones.
Bone broth is very nutritious and is often used as the base for soups, sauces, and gravies. Bone broth has a less strong flavor than a bouillon cube. You can further season the broth yourself with salt, pepper, and other herbs.
Broffee
In addition to being a broth base, bone broth is also widely used as a drink. For example, you can add it to coffee to make a ‘broffee’.
Some popular applications of Bone BrothÂ
Soups and stews: You can use bone broth as a base for soups and stews. It adds nutrients and texture to dishes. For example, use bone broth in chicken soup, vegetable soup, chili, or goulash.Â
Rice and grains: Use bone broth instead of plain water when cooking rice, quinoa, bulgur, or other grains.
Sauces and gravies: Add extra flavor to your dishes by adding bone broth to sauces and gravies. Use it in pasta sauces, stew sauces, gravy for roasts, and homemade gravy for a deep flavor.
What is the difference between bone broth and bone broth fond?Â
A fond is essentially the same as a stock, but significantly reduced. By reducing the stock further, a fond is created that is thicker (more gelatin), darker in color, and fuller in flavor.Â
Use and storage
Use about 2 tablespoons of bone broth in soups, sauces, or in coffee.
Store in a cool, dark place. Once opened, keep refrigerated for 3 days (max. 7°C).Â
