What is Soy Lecithin?
Soy Lecithin is obtained from soybeans and is an easily absorbed form of phosphorus. Soy lecithin has several uses. It is often used as an emulsifier in the food industry. An emulsifier ensures that two substances that are not normally miscible can be mixed. In addition, lecithin is a source of phospholipids. This is a major component of our cell membrane. Thus, it supports a healthy cholesterol balance.
